How Does Live Blackjack Work?
Blackjack is one of the most famous casino games of all time. You play this table card game against the dealer, with the aim of getting as close to 21 as possible. If you get closer than the dealer, you win the bet.
With live blackjack all the action happens live and is streamed to your chosen device in HD. The dealer is a real person who deals the cards and takes the bets in real-life and in real-time. You get the true casino experience from the comfort of your own home.
New to blackjack? You play like this.
At the start of a round of blackjack, you place your bet and the dealer hands two cards face up to each player. The dealer then deals their own two cards, usually one face-up and one face-down.
Based on the value of the cards, you can:
-
Hit: Take another card
-
Stand: Stay with your current hand
-
Double down: Double your bet and take another card
-
Split: Cut your hand into two if you were dealt a matching pair of cards
Once everyone has finished – either decided to stand or gone bust – the dealer reveals their face-down card. They must hit if their hand is 16 or less and stand if it’s 17 or higher.
You win if you get closest to 21 without going bust.
